This is a current project that entails the construction of 5 number RC frames, 3 of which are constructed from a podium transfer slab spanning a single storey basement car park. The development consists of 360 apartments, commercial space and associated amenities.

We are engaged by Fairview New Homes as a domestic Sub-Contractor on a bespoke form of Sub-Contract with design responsibility for the sheet-piled wall. The scope of works comprises enabling works including site set up, piling mat installations, the construction of a sheet-piled wall along a live London Underground railway boundary. The permanent sewer connection was 11m deep, we used a 3m diameter caisson method of construction to form this. The groundworks involved circa 30,000m3 bulk excavation to facilitate a basement carpark construction. Installation of a Xylem Water Solutions pumping station with 33m3 emergency storage capacity and a 2.9m diameter, 680m3 Tubosider Helibore attenuation tank as part of the overall drainage design. The Basement and podium slab construction included a waterproof perimeter wall and 700mm thick RC transfer slab designed to carry Fire & Emergency rescue vehicles. There were 5 number RC frames ranging from 6-11 storeys. Within our package we supplied and managed 4 number tower cranes to facilitate the construction phase of the project. Works commenced on site in November 2016.
