This is a current project that entails the construction of an adjoining basement and five-storey RC Frame. The development of approximately 90,000 square feet offers a highly innovative mixed mode low energy office design on a confined site maximising the potential and revitalising a building of great historical significance.
The works will comprise the conversion of the existing five-storey Farmiloe Building along with creation of a new basement and five-storey RC Frame, accommodating retail at part ground floors, basement office and ancillary spaces along with five upper floors of office use.
The new building offers exposed concrete fair-faced finishes throughout and is linked to the existing Victorian building via interconnecting atria, creating a striking development of both the old and new.
Works commenced on site in October 2017.
